Showing Up Anyway

Here we are at the end of the day, and we made it. We are trying not to close the page.

My pup is letting me know it is time to shut the computer and that he is ready for a walk around the neighborhood. I have started to write at least three times today, and I keep deleting it. That does not mean I failed. It means I showed up.

Showing up is the action that moves us forward. Showing up when the words do not flow. Showing up when you are tired. Showing up when you are busy. It all matters.

Whether it is going to the gym, eating healthy, reading a book, supporting a friend, working on a hobby, creating a new path in work, reading the Bible, choosing to connect, or choosing community, it all comes down to showing up.

Just a thought for today. Maybe it does not need more than this.
